Safeguarding children is an essential part of our holistic approach to ensure that children are protected and that every child reaches their full potential.

Our approach is set out in our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, which is underpinned by the Wakefield Safeguarding Children Partnership. The policy applies to all children and young people regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality or religion and can be downloaded below.
